Method # 1: Turn off antivirus software on the computer temporarily

+ Step 1: Open the Run dialog box (Windows + R
) => then enter the command ncpa.cpl
=> and press Enter

appears, right-click on the network you are using => then select Properties
.
+ Step 3: Next, double click on the line Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
=> select Advanced

+ Step 4: In the window Advanced TCP/IP Settings
=> you switch to tab WINS
=> and scroll down to section NetBIOS setting
=> and check the line Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP
=> press OK
to save.

Method # 3: Enable TCP / IP NetBios Helper
Note: You do this on both devices (the device you want to connect to and the device)
+ Step 1: You open the Run dialog box (Windows + R
) => then enter the command services.msc
=> Find to line TCP/IP NetBios Helper
as shown below => then you can double click, or right click and choose Properties
.
+ Step 2: In section Startup type
=> you switch to status is Automatic
=> click the button Start
=> and select OK
.
+ Step 3: After setup is complete, restart your computer to check the results offline.
Method # 4: Set in Local Group Policy Editor
+ Step 1: You open the Run dialog box (Windows + R
) => then enter the command gpedit.msc
=> then access the following path:
ComputerConfig WinSetting SercuritySetting LocalPolicy SecurityOption
=> Then go to Account line: Limit local acc use of blank password to console logon only => then double click on that line => and select Disable
to disable this policy.
+ Step 2: Similarly, find and double-click on the line Network access: Sharing and security model for local account
=> then select is Classic - local users
+ Step 3: Finally, open CMD window => and run the command gpupdate /force
to update gpedit again. Or if you feel that using the command is difficult for you then you just need to reboot to apply it.
=> Now try accessing the LAN again.

Computer Configuration Windows Settings Security Settings Local Policy Securiy Options
=> You find the line Network security : LAN Manager authentication level
=> Double click on this line!
Then choose again Send LM & NTLM -user NTLMv2 senssion security if negotiated
=> then you press Apply
=> select OK
=> And restart the computer to try connecting again.
